The national monetary council of Brazil has held the base interest rate on loans from state development bank BNDES at 7.50 percent, the second straight time it has held interest rate untouched.
Brazil's highest economic body, which includes the finance and planning ministers and central bank chief, said it will keep the rate at 7.50 percent for this year's third quarter.
