The U.S. Senate will have a hearing sometime this year regarding AT&T Inc.'s plan to purchase Time Warner, senate spokesman Mike Lee said on Sunday.
The telecommunications company on Saturday said it is looking to acquire Time Warner for $85.4 billion. The plan has raised concerns among U.S. lawmakers about antitrust issues.
