Latest data suggests that COVID-19 is retreating, having recorded only 455,000 new cases on Sunday, which is a sharp decrease from earlier statistics. However, there is a chance that this is only because of the weekend, since a decline usually happens at that time.

With regards to vaccinations, the pace is still slow around the world. Apparently, some countries have insufficient supply.

EUR/USD - there is a good chance that euro will trade upwards this week. Therefore, open long positions after a break above 1.2190, or open short positions from 1.2075.

On Thursday, a report on US GDP will be released, the forecast of which is an increase of about 3.9%.
