Over the past week, the British pound has been advancing ahead of other currencies. This momentum may soon lead to a breakout above the rising channel and the target level at 1.3635.

The Marlin oscillator only entered positive territory on Monday and still has a long path ahead. The pound's growth potential extends to 1.3800, the support level from April to May 2021.

The price is preparing to break through the 1.3433 level on the four-hour chart. The Marlin oscillator is poised to assist. A successful breakout and consolidation above this level would pave the way for a further advance toward 1.3565 — the price channel line on the daily scale.
